Does the hood actually work, or does it cover my eyes?
It’s a full quarter-zip balaclava, so pulled all the way up it covers everything. Fold the front edge back once and it sits clean above the eyeline. Some people wear it fully down on purpose — that’s the point of it.
Does the zip sit against your face?
At full zip the pull sits just under the chin. If you’re sensitive to cold metal, run the zip to three-quarters — the hood still holds its shape.
Is it too heavy to wear indoors?
Honestly, for most heated rooms — yes. These are cut at outerwear weight, not sweatshirt weight. If you want something you can sit at a desk in all day, this isn’t it. Check the exact fabric weight in the product details.

I love this jacket so much I ordered another one and one for my husband!!!! My first one came very quickly but this second order still hasn’t come and it’s been 4.5 weeks so far but I’m excited to get them in and it’s definitely worth the wait!!! These jackets are so comfy, warm and VERY FASHIONABLE not to mention TOP NOTCH QUALITY; worth every penny I never take mine off!

Really great quality materials and hardware. Hood is really big, so the eye hole doesnt align with my eyes without some adjusting. Color is great, lighter than the pictures but still that dark red-brown. I didnt realize it was preorder at the time of purchase and the communication i did get through email was not good. It took every bit of 6 weeks to ship.

The jacket is very comfortable and the seams/finishing are of good quality. The only downside is the thickness of the fabric; it's not very warm, so it's best to wear a sweater underneath for more comfort this winter.

Really happy with the quality — the stitching and embroidery are super clean, and the craftsmanship feels top-notch. The hood design is amazing (honestly the reason I bought it!) and fits perfectly.
The colour look a bit lighter and more “washed” than I expected from the photos, but still nice overall. Shipping took a bit too long, but worth the wait.
If it holds up well with wear, I’ll definitely be getting another one for next winter!
