Does the hood actually work, or does it cover my eyes?
It’s a full quarter-zip balaclava, so pulled all the way up it covers everything. Fold the front edge back once and it sits clean above the eyeline. Some people wear it fully down on purpose — that’s the point of it.
Does the zip sit against your face?
At full zip the pull sits just under the chin. If you’re sensitive to cold metal, run the zip to three-quarters — the hood still holds its shape.
Is it too heavy to wear indoors?
Honestly, for most heated rooms — yes. These are cut at outerwear weight, not sweatshirt weight. If you want something you can sit at a desk in all day, this isn’t it. Check the exact fabric weight in the product details.

This company is extremely unreliable when it comes to delivery and customer service - I still haven't received my order or any communication about when it will arrive - the fact they have cherry picked 9 5 star reviews to display should tell you enough. I imagine they will delete this review too.

This thing has good weight on it. It’s stylish and I really love the embroidery. The hood really covers everything but the eyes so I’m eager to see how it feels in the -ber months. It also has pockets instead of the single pocket that halfzip hoodies typically have. Great replacement for my old emotional support hoodie. It could be too soon to say on first impression but I do believe this is worth the price. That is a wildly subjective opinion but it is unique and very well made. Plus it arrived pretty swiftly.
